Morning sunlight within 30 minutes of waking — anchors the circadian clock and sets the timing of your natural melatonin rise 14–16 hours later
Alcohol is not a sleep aid — it sedates rather than induces natural sleep, suppresses REM, and causes fragmented second-half sleep. It is one of the most potent destroyers of sleep architecture known
Address cortisol — as we covered in Issue #11, elevated evening cortisol is one of the primary drivers of difficulty falling and staying asleep. The two issues are deeply interconnected
